WWE executive reacts to intermediaries who criticize Creative

Published

on

For fans paying attention on social media, you may have seen some WWE Superstars tweeting the ominous “The sky is blue” tweet. Several superstars, from Shelton Benjamin to Nikki Cross, tweeted the phrase without explanation in the context of the tweet. However, WWE official Adam Pearce recently took to social media via Twitter to add an extra step to things, first posting “The sky is crying” and “Can you see the tears rolling down? the street “in a series of tweets. Adam Pearce spoiled this Roman Reigns promo on a recent Smackdown.

Following those tweets, Pearce posted a message of apparent solidarity with WWE talent, giving the impression that the “Sky Is Blue” tweets could have to do with creative frustration generated by certain talents within WWE. Pearce tweeted: “Put one foot up. Put it in front of the other. Toggle and repeat. “You can see all of these tweets below. In other news on Adam Pearce, the WWE official was a focal point during a recent edition of ‘The Kurt Angle Show,’ in which Angle discussed with Conrad Thompson about how to prepare for his retirement bout against King Corbin and get Pearce’s opinion on it. ”He told Thompson the following quote.

Adam Pearce, I think. Well, Adam came up to me and said, “Hey, I need to know what you’re comfortable with and what you’re uncomfortable with. I know your body is struggling and we want to help you get through this. So I said, ‘Listen, leave me, I’ll structure the game and then give it to you. I’ll let him know what we’re doing and then he can tell me if he likes it or not. So that’s what I did. I structured the game to feel comfortable with what we were going to do in the game. I didn’t do much in that game. ” Adam Pearce hinted at this WrestleMania match with Paul Heyman earlier this month.

Wade Barrett reveals the reason he missed NXT

Published

on

Wade Barrett served as a “remote correspondent” during WWE NXT on Wednesday night. Barrett explained during the show that he was not live on the show for a strange reason.

Barrett said: “I’m trapped in Dexter Lumis basement. Can you send help asap?” Wrestling Edge is asking The Boogeyman to save Wade Barrett, he will come looking for you!

Wrestling Inc. owner Raj Giri and Wrestling Observer owner Dave Meltzer discussed NXT and the quality of wrestling product today.

XAshleyAllen tweeted: “You’re right, NXT has the best fighting quality in current wrestling alongside NJPW.”

Raj Giri replied: “I have always cared three times for the quality of the matches. I am not going to convince my friends to watch Creed 2 because there is a 5 star fight. Let’s get back to the things that people care about. Sourcing of the hardcores will end the business. “

Dave Meltzer responded: “It has become a talking point for people who listen to people who are not paying attention. WWE has never cared about the quality of matches and it has declined. The non-WWE ones are the most popular in 20 years. Providing great matches has been key to that growth. “

“Big matches have never been the best in any combat sport when it comes to popularity, great personalities always have been. That said, big games have never been so important to the growth of the company and the talent itself. “

When asked if he was giving Giri a chance, Meltzer said: “It’s a chance for anyone who buys the idea, everything points to hardcores and that’s why it’s not popular. Because not everything is aimed at hardcores and some parts of the pre-pandemic business were growing. The sky is not falling, although some people want to say yes. “

Vince McMahon rejected the ‘stupid’ undertaker’s idea

Published

on

The Undertaker is a legend in the world of professional wrestling, having dedicated more than three decades of his life to the business. He was a mainstay during the ’90s in WWE and competed against several major stars including Bret Hart and many more. Undertaker’s WWE plans for 2021 have just been revealed.

During the latest episode of his Something To Wrestle podcast, Bruce Prichard spoke about WWE In Your House 6. During the conversation, Bruce Prichard revealed a canceled idea involving Kevin Nash and The Undertaker on In Your House 6.

The idea in question was eventually canceled due to the fact that it was “too dumb” to be a thing.

“I thought the game was a good game. Go back and watch it and it’s a decent match. They were telling a story. When you get to that story at the end, it was to get to the Undertaker story, now it will keep this Diesel one. That was the history of this party. What we didn’t do was actually Kevin Nash’s idea that I was so looking forward to, and I actually remember coming back with Vince and doing a second pitch, is that once the Undertaker pushes Diesel into the hole and draws Diesel underneath in the hole, that when Diesel reappeared, he had a gray streak in his hair. I thought, my gosh, that’s great. It was ruled to be too cheesy. “

The Rock downloads on wrestling promoter ‘Dirty’

The Rock remains one of the most popular professional wrestlers the industry has ever seen, and his influence is still being felt in the business. He had many fights during his time as a young wrestler in WWE and faced many adversities. John Cena ranted about having to lose to The Rock.

After the last episode of “Young Rock” finished airing, Rare editor Jack Hunter recently took to Twitter and commented on the episode.

Teen @TheRock knocking out a kid at school for calling wrestling “fake” just made my night. Because you know what happened. #YoungRock

The Rock responded to Hunter, where he said he hit a boy with a hammer in elementary school and then knocked out someone in high school for calling pro wrestling “fake.”

Hi Jack, it sure happened. Twice. Monté drove a boy in elementary school. KO a kid in high school. He was suspended both times. I was wrong. But back in the 80s, my dad and all the fighters taught me to “protect the business” always. It’s what we did. #YoungRock

The episode also featured the underbelly of the professional wrestling business, especially the promoters. The Rock responded to a fan who mentioned this.

There was a hard / seedy belly in professional wrestling for decades and decades. It was what it was and you did your best to keep your head spinning in those shark infested waters.
