Pat Patterson passed away on December 2 at the age of 79, leaving the WWE Universe with a heavy heart.
Pat Patterson suffered from cancer for a few years. He was rushed to a Miami hospital on November 27 with a blood clot in his liver. There he died 5 days after liver failure.
Speaking to Ryan Satin the day after Pat Patterson’s death, Triple H spoke about the kind of impact he had on all aspects of WWE. Patterson was not only the first Intercontinental Champion and the creator of Royal Rumble, but also a “creative force that drives the soul,” in The Game’s words.
There are no words to describe what he gave us. Her body as a performer in the ring, her mind as a storyteller, and her spirit as a beloved member of our great @WWE family. I’ll miss him for so many reasons … it’s never goodbye, see you in the future. I love you, Pat. Abooze

Triple H calls Pat Patterson the second most influential entity in WWE
It’s no secret that Pat Patterson was considered Vince McMahon’s unofficial second-in-command in WWE. He was very involved in everything WWE did, whether in creative or commercial terms.
Triple H named Pat Patterson a “tight second” for him, when it comes to the most influential people in the business, right after McMahon.
“If I were to make a list of the most influential people in this business, I am not just talking about their career in the ring. From the moment you walk into it to the moment you’re gone, the most influential people, Vince is probably first on the list, right? I don’t know how anyone could be taller than that. But Pat would be there like a second to me on that because I don’t know anybody with longevity and contributions. “
Triple H went on to highlight how profound Pat Patterson’s influence runs. He said every decision he makes, every interaction he has or everything he creates as part of WWE has some influence from Pat Patterson.
“All the way to the end, there is not a day that goes by for me at the Performance Center. Whether I’m talking to talent, producing television, or writing something, I’m doing anything that has to do with WWE. There is no piece of Pat attributed to him. A learning that I got from him, something, is always there. “
“I said yesterday when we were all lining up to go on stage for the tribute to him. I said they know that everyone who wants to be a part of this, from the team to all the fields, should come here. And they all ran there, and I told them that I know there are a lot of you who maybe didn’t even know him. But trust me, this might just be the most influential guy in your career that you will have a chance to pay tribute to. Because even if you never met him and you think ‘I never met Pat, he really had nothing to do with me’. It does, because everyone who came before you is teaching you at whatever level, something had come from Pat’s learning tree. That is not an exaggerated statement in any way. “
Goldberg’s last appearance on WWE Raw revealed
WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg returned to WWE in 2016 after a more than a decade hiatus from the company. He would then defeat Brock Lesnar in a squash match at Survivor 2016 and then win the Universal Championship against Kevin Owens in 2017. He defended his title against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33 in one of the show’s main events. As stated in his contract, Vince McMahon can only get him to compete in one more match this year, so it has to mean something. Goldberg also admitted teasing Ric Flair for being too old to be in the ring in the past. Goldberg also sent a bold message to a WWE Superstar a couple of months ago.
Goldberg finally returned to WWE television when he appeared on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW after Bobby Lashley successfully defended his WWE Championship against a returning Keith Lee. Subsequently, Goldberg appeared and challenged Bobby Lashley for a WWE Championship match declaring that he is next.
WWE is also announcing Goldberg for two more appearances on Monday Night RAW. He is scheduled to appear on the August 2 and 16 episode of the show. Raw on August 16 could be Goldberg’s last under his 3-year contract with WWE, signed in the spring of 2019 for 2 matches per year.

The publisher and owner of Ringside News stated via Twitter: “There are rumors about Bray Wyatt. One story circulating is that he is off WWE television for “personal” reasons. We have been told that your absence is considered “medical” and not personal. It is still advertised for the August 9 RAW in Orlando as well. Stay tuned.”
In other Bray Wyatt news, in a recent interview by Bill Apter, wrestling legend and Bray Wyatt’s uncle, Barry Windham spoke about how his nephew is currently being used in WWE. Credit to SEScoops for the following quotes.

However, Windham claimed that he has not seen many of Wyatt’s matches as the Demon in WWE, but has seen the vignettes that he has done as the character. The wrestling legend continued:
“You know I haven’t really seen any of his matches, I’ve only seen some of the little vignettes that he’s done. He was always ready to be a fighter growing up. “

WWE Brings back the world champion for the return match
Samoa Joe will compete in a ring once more. The last time Samoa Joe was in a WWE ring was on the February 10 episode of Raw. Here Joe, Kevin Owens, and The Viking Raiders took on Seth Rollins, Buddy Murphy, and AOP in a losing effort. Joe would then work as a color commentator for WWE Monday Night Raw until his release from the company on April 15, 2021. Joe would re-sign in June and be named enforcer to NXT General Manager William Regal. Did Vince McMahon ‘infuriate’ this former NXT star in a text message?
After NXT Champion Karrion Kross strangled Samoa Joe, he laid the groundwork for a possible fight between Kross and Joe. It is now reported that Kross Vs Joe will take place for the Kross NXT Championship at NXT TakeOver 36. The event will take place on August 22, 2021.
In other Samoa Joe news, former NXT Champion Johnny Gargano commented on Joe’s last season with WWE NXT during a recent interview with TV Insider. The NXT mainstay stated: “Samoa Joe is a legend. You cannot replace the mind you have. He has done so many things in this business, even long before WWE. I was a fan of Samoa Joe when I was in high school. Everything he does, he does it successfully.
This fired WWE NXT employee recently leaked his paycheck. Continuing Gargano said: “Having Joe in this new role in NXT brings a breath of fresh air and brings this new dynamic. I am very excited about what he will do in the future. Whenever it is on the screen, it is essential television. “
