Every time a new project related to a well-known franchise is announced, fans wonder if any of the historical figures will be involved. A new report on the Amazon TV series The Lord of the rings He speculates that on the show there will be the return of three characters that Tolkien fans know very well.
They are Sauron, Elrond and Galadriel., which the public also met in the Peter Jackson Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogy. Previously Galadriel had already been reported as a possible character within the series, although it is not yet clear in what terms it will be included in the narrative. Therefore, there is a possibility that these characters will be present only in short appearances.
A post from TheOneRing.net website was shared on Twitter:“Lord of the Rings series update: JA Bayonne is CURRENTLY filming the world’s largest production in New Zealand to start filming again after COVID. Added New Zealand cast, more New Zealand team members have confirmed the presence of Galadriel, Elrond and Sauron […] “.
It is not entirely surprising to discover that these three characters will somehow participate in the filming of the series, even if the setting of the show, which dates back centuries before what is told in the movies, could exclude the presence of other historical characters from the franchise.
At Everyeye you’ll find an in-depth look at everything we know about The Lord of the Rings series.

Emilia Clarke, Daenerys on Game of Thrones, in negotiations to join Marvel’s Secret Invasion series
Actress Emilia Clarke, known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen on the HBO series Game of Thrones, is in negotiations to join the Marvel Studios series Secret Invasion to premiere on Disney +.
According to Variety, Emilia Clarke could join a cast that includes Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Kingsley Ben-Adir and Olivia Colman.
Although Emilia Clarke has already made her way through Disney land to a galaxy far, far away playing Qi’ra in the movie Han Solo: A Star Wars Story, this would be her first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Secret Invasion series was announced in 2020 and we can see Samuel L. Jackson reprising his role as Nick Fury, Ben Mendelsohn returning as Skrull Talos, and Kingsley Ben-Adir as the main villain. Oscar-winning actress Olivia Colman confirmed this week that she is also in talks to join the series.
Secret Invasion is a Marvel Comics story where shapeshifting aliens known as the Skrulls secretly invade Earth and even replace members of the Avengers. In the comics, this leads to SHIELD’s disbandment, but that has already happened in the MCU. Also, the Skrulls we’ve met so far are friendly, so the series could take a different approach.
Emilia Clarke has been nominated four times for her portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones and her career, both in film and television, has been very rewarding in recent years.
