Lana sends a bold message to Mickie James

Published

on

Mickie James has posted additional comments regarding WWE mailing him a trash bag after his firing. WWE sent a “second package” to Mickie James.

“I would like to tackle this one last time, then we can all move on. I have so many amazing things on the horizon. The last thing I wish is for him to have some of it tainted with ugliness and negativity. I am not proud or happy that someone ever loses their job. Especially someone whom he considered a friend. I’m sure Vince & the McMahons had no idea that this is how they sent us packing. It hurt a lot more fragile ten years ago when my belongings arrived on my doorstep, because WWE was my everything. I have grown as a woman and as a person as much as everyone in this business.

Today I am stronger than ever and smart enough to know that it was not a deliberate attack on me. However, the symbolism cannot be denied. I’m sorry that a thoughtless and deaf act cost someone their job. But I don’t regret having the courage to make sure it never happens to anyone else in the future. So if that’s my final grade on this company going forward, I agree with that. When I started in this business, one of the best advice I ever got was, “Leave the business better than you found it, kid” and that has always been my end goal. I love you all so much. I am legitimately grateful for my time in WWE and throughout my career. I look forward to everything that comes next. I really hope you are too and maybe you will join me.

Sincerely and humbly yours,
Mickie Laree James-Aldis. “WWE’s most active female talent has remained silent, but Lana left a comment, simply saying,” I love you. “Lana’s husband, Rusev, now known as Miro, was fired by WWE last year.
