Jeff Hardy ‘eliminated’ from WWE Smackdown

Published

on

Jeff Hardy was pulled from the WWE Smackdown WrestleMania special last week due to his father’s funeral. Matt Hardy just made fun of a fired WWE star who joins AEW.

Matt Hardy wrote of the death of his and Jeff’s father: “Today there has been a great outpouring of love and kindness following the news of our father’s passing. We really appreciate it.

Our mother tragically died of cancer in 1987, when Jeff and I were still tweens. Jeff, our dad, and I were by his bedside when he took his last breath that day. It was the first time we had seen our father cry. Our dad said that we should all move on with our mom, that’s what she would want. That is exactly what we try to do in his memory. Our dad sacrificed a lot and worked so hard to support us as a single parent. Our dad always made sure we had food to eat, clothes to wear, and a roof over our heads.

Our father started out as our biggest critic when we wanted to pursue the dream of being professional wrestlers. After a few years of wrestling and then finding success in WWE, our dad became our biggest fan. He was very proud to be “The Hardy Boyz Daddy” and recorded every game of ours on his VCR. Our dad was one of Hardy’s fan favorites, he even earned the nickname “The Legend.”

Jeff and I feel very blessed to have had our father alive until he was 87 years old. He was able to watch his children live out their dreams and give him many grandchildren to carry on the Hardy name and bloodline.

In the early morning of Tuesday, April 6, our dad passed away. Jeff and I were with him at home and by his bed when he took his last breath. My brother Jeff was our father’s guardian angel for the past several years. I was lucky enough to spend a lot of time and have many conversations with my dad in the last few months. I felt at peace with everything. Like our dad said when our mom passed away, he would want Jeff and me to continue. Today we let him rest with our mother and we hope they have reunited after being apart for almost 35 years. “

Andrade drops WWE “arrest” bomb

Published

on

It has recently been confirmed that newly released WWE star Andrade will face Alberto Del Rio in one of his first matches after being released from WWE. The match will take place at a professional wrestling event in McAllen, Texas, on July 31. This caused quite a stir among professional wrestling fans and members of the WWE universe alike, given Del Rio’s legal past. Indeed, Del Rio’s recent trial to determine whether or not he is guilty of sexual assault was has delayed, from May to August. If convicted, Del Rio could face life in prison. Andrade’s “bad check” recently surprised many WWE fans.

In a follow-up to this story, Andrade recently took to social media via Instagram to post a post that is arguably quite deaf at best, given the circumstances. In the post, Andrade is sitting in a courtroom, behind the judge’s bench, stating that he appears to hint at Del Rio’s innocence and that the “case is closed.” Also, the multiple laughing emojis suggest that this should be taken in a “lighthearted” way. The full caption reads: “I declare you not guilty! Case closed. You plead not guilty! Case closed “. You can see Andrade’s full post on the former WWE Champion below.

Heyman recently had an interview with DAZN about Cesaro’s rise to the main event scene, as he recently got a boost. He believes his former client should go after Bobby Lashley’s WWE Championship as he has a better chance of capturing him rather than Reigns’ Universal Championship.
