Former WWE Superstar Gillberg is undoubtedly remembered by fans of the Attitude Era. It was a parody of the WCW character Goldberg and has entertained fans for many years. Now it seems that he recently suffered a heart attack.
Duane Gill’s wife told James Ellsworth to update fans on the news on social media. Gillberg and Ellsworth are close friends in real life, outside of the square circle. Ellsworth also fought him in his retirement match.
Ellsworth posted a video on Twitter, where he looked visibly upset. He revealed that Gill had a heart attack yesterday, but was said to be fine. He was out of ICU and “it’s okay.”
He is hopeful that Gill will come home this weekend.

Roman Reigns lost ‘Top Star’ to WWE Stable
Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose will always be known as The Shield, but they almost had an additional member when it was a new stable with a new name. Big E revealed that there was talk of plans to have him as the fourth member of The Shield, but he was lost in the confusion before he could sadly join. Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman have just confirmed that they are “boycotting” a WWE show.
Big E said on a WWE Network special: “My first feeling of being called was in 2012. I was looping. Any collective period of days is a loop. It’s roman [Reigns], Seth [Rollins], Dean [Ambrose], and me. It was thought of joining the four of us as a group.
Obviously, that changes, they go on to international fame as The Shield. They told me, ‘You’re going to be with Dolph and AJ, on your first night, you’re going to attack John Cena.’ I’m thinking, ‘Man, this is it.’
Big E said it was “too embarrassing” to watch himself, so he wouldn’t be watching his new WWE Network documentary.
Big E tweeted ahead of the premiere: “I’m embarrassed to see myself or see people say nice things about me (so I’m going to sit down) but please tune in to my # WWE24 tonight on @WWENetwork,” wrote Big E on Twitter. “They are constantly producing stellar documents, so I know I am in good hands.”
The Rock ‘Angry’ rants at AEW’s big name leaks
The Rock is still considered one of the most popular professional wrestlers in the history of the business. During the No Way Out 2001 pay-per-view, The Rock challenged Kurt Angle for the WWE title in a singles match.
While The Rock won the match, it was not without its problems. The end of the match was botched, as current AEW referee Earl Hebner mistook the second Rock Bottom delivered by The Rock as the first and stopped counting to three.
Kurt Angle talked about the failed ending on “The Kurt Angle Show” where he revealed that the failure was simply a mistake. He then revealed that The Rock was absolutely livid with failure.
“Well, you know, I clearly remember that Earl probably thought it was the first Rock Bottom. I think we had a Rock Bottom early in the game, and Earl forgot about it. So the end was supposed to be the second Rock Bottom, and Earl thought the second was the first. So that’s why he hesitated in the count. “
Dwayne, The Rock was pissed off. He picked me up, Rock Bottomed me and said to Earl, looked him in the eye and said, ‘Count the fucking ending!’ (Laughs) He’s pissed off! Earl will get it when we get back to Gorilla. But Dwayne, he was angry at the time, and when he got backstage, he got cold. He didn’t scream or anything. We all make mistakes.”
Edge’s match rumored after WrestleMania revealed
Edge or Roman Reigns (or Daniel Bryan if he wins at Fastlane, but who are we kidding?) Seem to be in line to defend their WWE universal title after WrestleMania against Cesaro. Vince McMahon is “furious” with an Edge WrestleMania spoiler.
Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that after Cesaro’s plans to challenge Roman Reigns at Fastlane were scrapped, Cesaro is in line for a title show after WrestleMania on Smackdown.
He said, “I guess they’re saving Cesaro for after WrestleMania.”
Seth Rollins opened up about his feud with Cesaro on Talking Smack.
“Look, look, look. I didn’t invite Cesaro. You have confused him a bit. He interrupted me, ”Rollins told Paul Heyman and Kayla Braxton. “After leaving me behind two weeks ago when I was trying to give direction to the Superstars in our locker room, to tell them that SmackDown is about to get a lot better than it already has been, he abandoned me. He stayed to patronize me, yes. Then he left me.
“This week, he interrupts me. I try to offer you some guidance [and] some help because that’s what you need to get to the next level. You can’t do this without me. Everything I touch turns to gold. I was trying to help a friend, and that’s how he pays me. “
