WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart has seen it all when it comes to the world of professional wrestling. Certainly he is well versed in tag team fighting as well. It appears that he has also saved the WWE career of a former WWE Superstar.

Bret Hart recently spoke on “The 81 Podcast” where Hart revealed that he helped Ken Shamrock keep his job in WWE and not get fired.

“I actually remember Vince was going to fire him and he called me and basically said, ‘I’m getting ready to call Ken Shamrock, I’m going to fire him,’ and I was like ‘why would you fire him? ‘and he was like’ a lot of guys didn’t like him or the management. ‘ I remember saying, “I don’t think you should fire him, we really need a guy like Ken Shamrock, we can use a guy like that, he could be a star and we could make money off him.”

“He ended up changing his mind and I remember him saying ‘okay, I’ll stay with him,’ and they held him back and then he did pretty well. That was all at the beginning when it appeared.[…] I always thought he was someone who could have been a much bigger star than he was allowed to be. I remember Triple H didn’t like him, and I remember working with him a lot and always criticizing and talking about him. I think he was one of the guys who stabbed him a lot in the back. “
