If you thought that Bray Wyatt’s new look looked more like Jason Voorhees than anything else currently happening in the professional wrestling and sports entertainment landscape, you are not alone and it was definitely designed as it was recently revealed that the Demon, who resurfaced in WWE Fastlane, attacking ‘The Viper’ Randy Orton, had his entire look overseen in part by iconic SFX makeup artist Tom Savini. Savini is known for his work on such legendary and acclaimed horror films as Dawn of the Dead (1978), Friday the 13th (1980) and Day of the Dead (1985). An insight into the WWE history of Bray Wyatt’s ‘father’ has just been leaked.
In other ‘The Fiend’ news Bray Wyatt, former WWE writer and polarizing professional wrestling personality Vince Russo recently expressed his disgust at how ‘The Fiend’ character was used during the WWE pay-per-view event. Fastlane last Sunday. During the last Legion of RAW podcast, Russo made the following comments to Dr. Chris Featherstone.
“Can I hit you with something more disconcerting than that? There were a lot of things on tonight’s show where things hit me over the head right away. I didn’t see Fastlane, but I saw the clips and I saw what happened. Here’s what I’m thinking, The Fiend hasn’t been on TV for the last three months, a main character from the show that you didn’t have in the toolbox. Now after three months he’s back and he’s wearing a really bad looking mask and I say to myself, before he “burned out” I’m sure you sold a lot of that mask. That was a really cool looking mask. Now I’m thinking, what was the point of ‘burning’ this guy and keeping him off television for three months. “

John Cone has been fired as Senior Manager of the Talent Relations Department. He still has a job as a referee. PWInsider broke the news of these layoffs.
Vince McMahon praised WWE management during today’s earnings call: “Like any other form of entertainment or sport, we came out of COVID. At first, we were in survival mode, but we found a new life. Sure, we saw this as an opportunity to rethink the way we do business and open what I call a WWE treasure chest. The only way to do that is by having the best management team in WWE history.
We have that team. A team that is innovative, a team that drives revenue, and has reorganized our company in a more efficient way to take advantage of new revenue streams, new online platforms, new consumer products, new content creation, and new opportunities to expand our portfolio. of media rights worldwide. I’m always excited about our business and I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited than I am right now. “
Stephanie McMahon posts a photo of a ’embarrassing’ diva
Stephanie McMahon apologized to Mickie James, retweeting her embarrassing photo showing the garbage bag sent to her after her firing. Triple H fired an employee for the photo.

WWE also fired Samoa Joe last week. Sean Waltman said on his Pro Wrestling 4 Life podcast: “Yes, [Samoa Joe] sure, ”Waltman said. “People are discouraged. I also. The thing is, this is Samoa Joe man. He’s a leading player anywhere as far as I’m concerned, and it opens up a lot of possibilities. I can’t wait to see where it ends. “
“I could see ROH. It has a history with ROH and even Impact. I guess it depends on what they offer. Here’s the thing, they released a dozen people or whatever at once. Some people might think, “Well, you put excess talent on the market,” but there is no excess talent like Samoa Joe on the market, no matter how many people are released. “
WWE also fired Peyton Royce, Billie Kay, Bo Dallas, Mojo Rawley, and many others last week.
