Bray Wyatt ‘needs to leave’ WWE after WrestleMania

Published

on

Should ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt leave WWE after his shocking loss to ‘The Viper’ Randy Orton during the second night at WWE WrestleMania 37, and a bad token on Raw? On The Best Wrestling Show podcast, former WCW commentator Mark Madden explains why it would be better for Wyatt to not only leave WWE but to stand before All Elite Wrestling as the new leader of Dark Order. Wrestling-Edge transcribed his comments, along with comments from his co-host, former WWE producer Mike Mansury below. This return of Bray Wyatt Raw was “ruined” by mistake.

Madden: I think the whole “Fiend” thing is stupid, it’s time to leave the character and it’s time to let Bray Wyatt go back to his old character.

Mansury: This is what happens Mark, I think the character of Bray Wyatt has been done so much damage that I don’t think there is any “comeback”. The sad part is that this character has been screwed so many times at WrestleMania.

Madden: I agree, and it’s a shame for Bray, but do you know where would be the best place for him in wrestling? I’m not kidding about this either.

Mansbury: What is that?

Madden: He goes to AEW as his old character, the lantern guy, the creepy hillbilly cult boy, and takes over Dark Order in memory of Brodie Lee and they are no longer a comedy act. They also get rid of some of the guys that suck and that would be the best for Bray and the best for those guys.

Mansbury: Yeah, I don’t know, there are so many times you can hit the reset button on Bray Wyatt.

Madden: No, but you can do it there, you can do it in AEW under those circumstances. However, I have to be honest, Bray is a great performer, but he’s ended up in WWE.

Brock Lesnar made it very clear that he wants Roman Reigns this week on SmackDown, as he gave an unexpected call to Paul Heyman.
