Booker T talks about Matt Riddle
WWE Hall of Fame legend Booker T expressed his deep thoughts on Matt Riddle during a recent installment of his “Hall of Fame” show.
During the show, the intermittent WWE commentator, pre-show analyst and former ring legend explained why going barefoot limits how far Riddle can go in his WWE career and why he needs to focus more on his storytelling.
Below are some of the highlights of Booker T’s comments on Matt Riddle from the latest episode of his “Hall Of Fame” show.
On why going barefoot limits how far Matt Riddle can go in his WWE career:
“Not taking anything from Matt Riddle, that (not wearing boots) was the first thing I noticed about him. I know changing them was cool and how WWE captured it in slow motion. That’s fine, but I think a lot when it comes to being the heavyweight wrestling champion. Let’s think about it for a second. There is a protocol there. How many heavyweight world champions have we had that were barefoot? How many barefoot wrestlers were bigger than Superfly Jimmy Snuka? If you are trying to get to the heavyweight championship or the Universal championship, there has always been a certain look you must have. This is how I see the wrestling business. When we talk about Matt Riddle, I think only from a promoter’s perspective. That’s. That’s all I’m thinking about. “
On Riddle’s moveset that is fine but needs to focus more on his storytelling:
“My thing is, if Matt Riddle took my advice, maybe he would understand the concepts of making a game feel as opposed to just watching it. That’s what I try to talk to these guys more than anything. They can probably do more moves than I could think of doing, but they’re not the fighting moves I talk about when I talk about guys like Matt Riddle. It’s about making people feel a certain way when they see it. I want to go out and create a great Shakespeare. It is not a party. It’s real to me and I’m going to make it happen. I wish these guys would stop playing these games and think for a second and say, let me see exactly what this guy is talking about because trust me, it could help you a lot more than it could hurt you. Many people are happy and think it is really good and they have solved it. Let me tell you right now, there is no way you have discovered this business in 5, 8 or 10 years. It’s not going to happen. It’s going to take a lot longer to figure out the nuances of going out and performing in front of a crowd and making the crowd worry. You go out and make a child cry because they beat you so much that the child wants you to come back. Go out and make a tear come out of someone’s eye. That is your test. That’s the bar for me when it comes to going out and making the fans feel a certain way. “

WWE Survivor Series rumored for Surpising Country
WWE Survivor Series could be on the move. It seems that WWE talent may have to prepare their passports as WWE may be making a big move. Vince McMahon has been undecided lately, changing the main event of WrestleMania.
On the latest episode of ‘The Nitty Gritty Dirt Sheet’ hosted by everyone’s favorite, Vince Russo-Vince sat down with Billi Bhatti to discuss a very surprising move that WWE could be making for Survivor Series.
Russo: “Billi, is the agreement with Saudi Arabia still in force?” “What is on hold now?”
Bhatti: “They are not holding events at full capacity yet. I would assume that WWE will go there shortly after WrestleMania. I think they go there right around June time, now they owe them an additional event. ”
Bhatti continues: “At some point, we will see three, maybe four events in a year in Saudi Arabia. (Arabia). “
Bhatti: “They’re getting big. They’re going to end up with a mania, not a mania … but they will end up with a Rumble or Survivor Series or something like that.”
Bhatti closes: “They owe way too many pay-per-view, so WWE is not going to make fifteen years of pay-per-view by doing three Saudi Arabia (Arabia) events out of the twelve regulars they do. I don’t think that’s going to happen. “
Enzo and Big Cass reunite for a big promotion
Enzo and Big Cass reunited for an Impact + event on Saturday night, the Impact Wrestling app, though it’s unclear if they will actually be joining the promo. They saved Hernandez, a former TNA tag team champion, from a beating. Dirt Sheet Radio on Facebook shared the photo, as seen below.
A fan named Alex commented, “Where the heck did this show go? Fans … Fans without masks … “
Then a debate about masks began, and a fan named Stephen said, “Colby, some indy shows in Georgia require fans to wear a mask before entering, the Robert Gibson promotion in douglasville does.”
Paul added: “They are literally in a ‘Bingo Hall’ 😂”.
Chris said in another Dirt Blade Radius comments: “Maybe they will impact! Cass appears to be fit and healthy! “
Enzo and Big Cass appeared as a surprise at an ROH show a couple of years ago, but they never appeared again. Big Cass announced that he was taking a break from wrestling to recover.
WWE fired Enzo Amore in January 2018 for failing to tell them he was under investigation for alleged rape, though those claims were later revealed to be completely fabricated. Big Cass was fired just a few months later after a brief fight with Daniel Bryan on Smackdown. Enzo and Big Cass were arguably the most popular tag team in WWE when they debuted in 2016, but sadly they never got the tag titles or a major push. They were also popular on NXT, and Vince McMahon “doesn’t like” a current NXT tag team.
Lacey Evans ‘upset’ with WWE Affair News
Lacey Evans was “upset” with aspects of how WWE handled her romance story with Ric Flair, according to The Nature Boy on Busted Open Radio on SiriusXM. Lacey Evans just revealed a “tummy” photo.
“It took us by surprise. It was introduced to me. I think it was just a test and no one understood for sure exactly what was going to happen. I’d be remiss if I thought Ashley (Charlotte) is crazy about it. For me, I can practically achieve whatever I want. I’m very good at doing things if I like the show and understand it, but at the same time, it’s hard to be on a show against someone in your family, especially your daughter, when everyone knows that you are so proud of her. and you’ve been so positive to her in what you think about and you’re so happy for her success.
It took me by surprise, but on the one hand, I’m flattered that I was even given the opportunity to be on television. Number two, it started out a bit difficult and I think it got smoother. She (Lacey Evans) got pregnant. She is a beautiful girl. I don’t know her that well, but what I do know about her is that she is a really nice person. I met her husband. I met his daughter that they had on TV a little bit more on SmackDown, but it happened and I’m sure we were at the point where we were really going to make it work. “
Lacey Evans has revealed her weight gain during pregnancy. Flair added: “I had some ideas. My problem was that they did not let me get into the ring because it is very difficult for them to give me the go-ahead due to my health problems, even though my doctors have given me the go-ahead. I just don’t think they’re prepared to let me get in the ring in case something happens. It could have 40 pitches, but that would be it, why the heck are you doing that? Why the hell are you letting him do that?
I actually wanted to put on sweat clothes and work out in her, which I thought would have been cool and teach her a few things and have her emulate my character, doing the flips, suplex, turning around, begging. I had it all written down, but they didn’t let me get into the ring. I had the master plan. Would have been fun.
It never came to fruition and I’m happy that things turned out the way they did, especially for her because I think she was a little upset, but then she said, “Hey, I’m going to have a baby. This is what it’s supposed to be. I’m young. I have a beautiful daughter and now I have a second on the way. ‘Everyone wants to be on TV, but in this case, if she’s not going to be on TV for a while, it’s for a reason. very wonderful. that we all know “.
