Billy Gunn wrestled at AEW Dynamite on Wednesday night, and used ‘Gunn’ as his last name for the first time in a while, as it appears that AEW will attempt to use his last name again after what appeared to be a WWE legal issue. Triple H was caught “lying” about AEW Dynamite.

In previous games, he was only called Billy, or called “Billy and Austin Gunn” when he teamed up with his son. It’s unclear if this could be part of the deal for Chris Jericho to appear in Broken Skull Sessions.

Veteran WWE star Goldberg recently appeared on The Bump for WWE’s WrestleMania 37 earlier this month. He had reflected on what his wrestling experience was like with no WWE fans in attendance. Additionally, he talked about how well the WWE roster has dealt with the difficult scenario.

Goldberg talks about his experience

Goldberg had fought in a pair of bouts that were both title bouts amid the deadly COVID-19 pandemic. Goldberg “two games” on Smackdown Leak?

During the interview, Goldberg explained how “weird” it was to perform without a crowd for the first time at WrestleMania 36. He also said that it was very “difficult” to get the job done without the fans.

He said:

“The only analogy I could give you is the back when WCW used to wrestle in Orlando, that’s the atmosphere it felt like without the people. So saying Erie is a good way to describe it, you know it’s close. It was even worse than that, it was extremely strange. It was hard to go out and do our job, although, you know, we love it so much that it’s really hard. It’s hard for people not to feed on whether it’s part of your concert or not, you know, if you’re a heel, if you’re a babyface, if you interact with the crowd. Not having them there is a great detriment to what we are trying to do. “

However, he later praised the roster, saying that the talented group of people has done a great job amid tough times around the world.

Added:

“But on the other hand, you look at the basic element of who we have and what is happening right now by trying to record the delay with the weather delay. You have no better group of people to do what we have to do now than the list on the list we have now. Speaking of thinking on your feet and speaking of, you know, changing this scenario because of what’s going on, these people are extremely talented. From what I see, we have more free television. “

Goldberg had recently returned on the Raw Legends Night edition and challenged Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship in a losing effort.

Bobby Lashley ‘ready to lose’ the WWE title?

Published

on

Recently, on the most recent episode of “The Nitty Gritty Dirt Show” on RussosBrand.com, Billi Bhatti sat down with former WWE writer Vince Russo. The two talked about a vast panorama of everything to do with professional wrestling. Here, the two discussed how the original plan for WWE WrestleMania 37 was for McIntyre to become WWE Champion, defeating Bobby Lashley in the process. This “embarrassing” mistake by Drew McIntyre was recently leaked on Raw.

Additionally, Bhatti discusses how the plan went so far that Drew was considering sending family members to countries that do not have a COVID-19 flag, such as Denmark and Mexico, and then to the United States to see him win the title. However, as Bhatti explains, Drew soon canceled this and plans were changed. Wrestling-Edge transcribed Bhatti’s comments below.

Bhatti: I know two weeks before WrestleMania it was still the case with Drew looking for ideas in terms of possibilities of bringing family members there. I remember a conversation where I said there is a way to do it, but you have to take your people to a country without a flag and set it up in fourteen days. So we look at Denmark, Mexico, all these kinds of options, and then the United States. At some point, Drew made the decision not to send family members there, obviously that was the moment that things turned around. When there were ideas to do that, he was still slated to be the WWE Champion.
